Day 8 (Sunday)

Ico spent the day outside observing me do fun things like weed and wash the cars. Yesterday and today have been divine weatherwise and we keep coming up with excuses to go outside and do things. We have a new puppy next door (Ollie a yellow lab) and Ico seems to be confounded as to whether she should play with the puppy or do something motherly like nudge the puppy in the correct direction. Ico's incision is completely healed and she is in great spirits. Also, I finally figured out how to post a comment, see Thursday comments on how to make it work.

Day 7 (Saturday)

Today Ico came to visit with her Mom, sister and Aunties. It was the first sunny day in a long time and we all enjoyed a day in the yard. After their romp they all laid down with great big venison bones. Yummmy! Raquel thinks that maybe Ico had some morning sickness last night. She thought it was gross but I thought it was wonderful "^)

I thought that I'd upload the little movie I made of ico at an agility practice. She's a hoot.

Day 6 (Friday)

Tango and his mom. I know- I know.... he's kind of a girlie boy :) but then again, Ico is a tomboy!

A goofy shot. His mom says that he smiles and this is actually a smile... yeah, right .... LOL!

Here is the first of Ico's Pregnancy Chart. I will be posting updates every so often so that we can follow the development of the puppies as well as physical changes Ico is going through.

Day 5 (Thursday)

HI everyone. Today is the day to catch up on a little family background.... on daddy's side. Ico was bred to a boy named Tango. His pedigree name is: Royale Tejas Tango. He was born 1998 but no longer with us. His ancestors were mainly from Canada from some of the earliest Silver lines. He was described to me by his owner as her, "Dog of a life time," which was one reason I became interested in him. After all.... temperament is my biggest focus. The icing on the cake was his looks: stately, elegant and a beautiful platinum color.

Day 4 (Wednesday)

June 9, 2010

It has been a good day. Ico and the girls have been dodging the rain showers to get walks in and get the brief sun breaks. In the next day or two Vikki will be blogging about Ico's baby daddy. No morning sickness to report yet; not sure if that is a good sign or bad sign.

Day 3 (Tuesday)

June 8, 2010

Today's challenge has been trying to convince Ico that it is not a good idea to go chasing after Pico, our two year old airedale, or the tennis balls and that it is also not a good idea to jump over our 14 year old mixed breed Kinsey, ugh. Oh well at least she is feeling like her usual crazy and energetic self. Her incision continues to heal, I really cannot get over how quickly and nicely it is healing.

Day 2 (Monday)

June 7, 2010

Nothing spectacular to report which I guess is good. Ico's incision is healing very well.....the calendula cream is really working its magic. I started mixing puppy food in with Ico's regular food today and yogurt. If I didn't know better I would say everything was normal and that yesterday didn't happen. She is being her usual energetic self which is a little hard to curb and she keeps giving me sad puppy eyes when I tell her to take it easy. She is staying very close which usually during the day Ico will go up to the bedroom and sprawl on the bed like a queen, not today. She stayed in same rooms I was in on either the doggy bed or couch, kind of interesting.
