Day 33

Ico and a clan of poodles (Vikki and Wendy's menageire) plus one airedale got together today for a swim at Luther Burbank Park in Mercer Island (about five miles east of Seattle). Ico loved it and was competing with Tin Tin on the retrieval of tennis balls. Little does Ico know that Tin Tin will win every time and that Tin Tin is strategic and could probably dunk Ico very easily if she wanted. Here is a picture of Ico and Ico and Tin Tin on one of the retrievals.

  1. ahhhhhhhh... Now that's the way to cool off! We tried to get Pico into the water but she wasn't liking the wakes caused by the boats going by. Eureka surprised us by making a tennis ball retrieve that even TinTin refused. Nickel had a great time with her Monkey in the water but was the first one to retreat to the shade of the bushes. Corsa... who doesn't like the water... even waded in chest deep. The Wahman poodles showed every one up by swimming nonstop. Little LaRoo was, next to Ico, caught the biggest air with her leaps into the water. It was especially impressive because she's so tiny. The size of the waves didn't deter her as she plunged into the water after her toy. WHAT FUN!!
